Eastern and Western fashion

Melinda French Gates is an American businesswoman ,philanthropist and wife of Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates.They met in 1987 at a Microsoft press event in Manhattan, New York.Bill proposed marriage to Melinda in 1993 when he secretly diverted a chartered plane they were taking home from Palm Springs one Sunday night to land in Omaha. Warren Buffett met them there, arranged to have a jewelry store open, and helped them pick a ring, romantic, isn’t it? They married on January 1, 1994 on the Hawaiian island of Lanai in a $ 1 million wedding ceremony at Manele Bay Hotel.For wedding day Bill rented every hotel room at the hotel (250 rooms) and chartered every helicopter close by.Bill and Melinda are happy parents of three children:

 Nita Ambani is wife of industrialist Mukesh Ambani one of the richest man in the world. After meeting just seven times Amabni decided to propose her.As Anita recalls “We were driving on Peddar Road [Mumbai] in his green Fiat and there’s a signal at Peddar Road and he stops the car there and this is at 7.30, peak time traffic, and I said, ‘What’s happening’ and he says, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘Mukesh! I really don’t know…there was this huge traffic at the back… so he says, ‘Tell me, otherwise I am not going to start the car…’ I said, ‘Yes, I will… I will’”.Nita has three children.Family live in a private 27-story building in Mumbai named Antilia The value of the home is approximately US$1 billion and it is claimed to be the most expensive home in history.
She is chairperson of Dhirubhai Ambani International School,the school is counted as one of the premium schools of Mumbai and is one of the 37 in India that offer the International Baccalaureate Program.Nita Ambani has been working as part of the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation, she is also Co-Owner of the Mumbai Indians cricket team.
